Elizabeth Naylor has been a lifelong sailor and educator. Having grown up on the coast of Maine, she has strong ties to the ocean as a sailor, explorer, and boat builder. She started her career overseeing the sailing program at Alford Lake Camp in Hope, Maine. Since then, she has been a middle school teacher in the Whitman-Hanson School district and coached sailing at Notre Dame Academy in Hingham. Currently, she is the Education and Outreach Coordinator at The Hull Lifesaving Museum. She is a graduate of Connecticut College and holds a master’s degree in critical and creative thinking from the University of Massachusetts – Boston. Beyond being a passionate and creative educator, she is a member of our yacht club’s Rhodes 19 Fleet!
Jake Allen is finishing his junior year at BC High and lives in Cohasset. He began sailing at Cohasset Yacht Club when he was 9, and he has experience in both Optis and 420s. He has participated in regattas throughout the South Shore and in Marblehead, winning several in-club cups and awards at
