The Great Chase Race
The 33rd annual Great Chase Race (GCR) will be held on Saturday, September 16. This event is open to all sailors, PHRF, one-design, and cruisers. The sailing competition is exciting, and the post-race awards ceremony and celebration is fun and open to all.
Registration for the GCR is open - click here to go to Regattaman.

We need many volunteers to assist with registration, raffles, photos, race boats, parking, event set-up, clean-up and merchandise sales. You will soon be hearing more information about signing up for volunteer opportunities.

Special thanks to Jim Fitzgerald and Mystic Scenic for restoring the starting cannon used at the Great Chase Race.
Come celebrate the sport of sailing and help out a great cause by participating in the annual Great Chase Race! This event is open to all sailors, PHRF, one-design, and cruisers and we typically expect over 100 sailing vessels of all types. While the competition is great, the post-race awards ceremony and celebration is awesome. If you have never competed in a Great Chase Race, you've been missing one of the best sailing events of the season!
How it works
You'll be given a start time based on your boat's rating. The slower rated boats start first while the faster rated boats start later. The slower boats have the thrill of hanging on to the lead while the faster boats have the challenge of passing the fleet in order to win. The first boats typically start at 1:00pm.
