Membership Types

Full Membership provides use of all club facilities including those on the water (club launch service, docks, dinghy dock, hoist and dry sail storage areas) as well as clubhouse facilities on shore (grills, kitchen, showers, bar) and social functions.

If you want to keep a boat at the club, you will need to join as a Full or Junior member.

  • Full members have voting privileges at club meetings.
  • Full membership is $1,195 annually.
  • Full members have an Initiation Fee of $500 required for the first year of membership.
  • Full members may receive discounts during the second and subsequent years of membership by participating in the club’s work credit program.
  • You may get discounts of as much as $200 in exchange for up to 10 hours of work per year on club projects.
  • Members in their second and subsequent years of membership may receive a further discount of $100 by paying annual membership fees before the 15th of February.

Junior Membership provides use of all club facilities including those on the water (club launch service, docks, hoist and dry sail storage areas) as well as clubhouse facilities on shore (grills, kitchen, showers, bar) and social functions.

A Junior member is an individual or individual and spouse who is age 25 to less than 31 years of age as of June 1st (Bylaw Article X, Section 1b).  

  • Junior members have voting privileges at club meetings.
  • Junior membership is $750 annually.
  • Junior members have an Initiation Fee of $0 required for the first year of membership.
  • Junior members may receive discounts during the second and subsequent years of membership by participating in the club’s work credit program.
  • You may get discounts of as much as $200 in exchange for up to 10 hours of work per year on club projects.
  • Junior Members in their second and subsequent years of membership may receive a further discount of $100 by paying annual membership fees before the 15th of February.

Social Membership provides use of clubhouse facilities on shore (grills, kitchen, showers and bar) and all social functions. Social membership does not include use of the club launch service, docks, dinghy dock, hoist and dry sail storage areas.

  • Social members do not have voting privileges at club meetings.
  • Social membership is $495 annually.
  • Social members have an Initiation fee of $0 required for the first year of membership.
  • Social (or Full) membership is required for all full summer Junior Sailing programs.
  • Discounts for work credit and early payment are not included with Social Membership.

Who is included?

Memberships include you, your spouse and your children less than 25 years of age.  From age 25 to less than 31 years of age as of June 1st, a Junior Membership is needed. Other family members are not included in Memberships but are welcome as guests as long as they are accompanied by a member. If they wish to use the facilities on their own, they must become members.
